On Tuesday, May 26, 2009, the Litigation Section of the Atlanta Bar Association will be holding the 2009 Bench and Bar Reception. Along with providing a buffet, open bar, live music, and a special Bard Show performance, the reception will also honor as the 2009 recipient of the Logan E. Bleckley Award for Judicial Excellence, The Honorable Leah Ward Sears, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia.  The social gathering will take place at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP, located at 201 17th Street, NW, Suite 1700, Atlanta, GA 30363, between the times of 6 PM to 9 PM, with the award presentation at 6:45 PM. The event has an entrance fee of $35 per person, with judges having their fee waived as guests of the Litigation Section.
