The AIPLA IP Practice in Latin America Committee is planning a trip to Brazil in August 2012.

A preliminary schedule from August 26, 2012 through August 31, 2012 indicates that the trip will include attending the The Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property conference (ABPI) in Sao Paulo, possible meetings with the American Chamber of Commerce in Sao Paulo, dinner with representatives of the Brazilian Industrial Property Agents Association (ABAPI) and the Sao Paulo Intellectual Property Association (ASPI), then on to Rio de Janeiro for sightseeing before meeting with the American Chamber of Commerce in Rio and representatives of the American Consulate.  Finally a visit to the Brazilian Patent and Trademark Office is scheduled.
